“Hujambo! Sijambo Bwana! Habari gani? Nzuri sana!” These are the words to a song they taught us as language school. It means, “Hello! Hello Sir! How are you? Very good!” We just got back from three weeks in Tanzania so that Mom and Dad could learn Swahili. They learned a lot and I learned some too. I went to class each day and my teachers would use Swahili with me so that I could learn. I learned lots of words and I understand a lot of commands. Mom and Dad did great. Both passed their courses and are looking forward to using Swahili in Arua. They said to tell you, “Asante sana! Tunampenda!” which means “Thank You!
